12 ON HILLEL VILLA AND SPA – Brand Identity, Strategy, & Positioning

The Challenge:

12 on Hillel Villa and Spa, a brand birthed by Lerato Kganyago had one goal, to be and look ahead of its peers—global luxury villas and spas. The build quality and location had the Villa already in the run to be top notch. It needed a brand identity to match the bold and unapologetic entrance to take its place as the sweet spot for South Africa’s crème de la crème.

The Solution:

Dervan Solutions held the bull by the horn on this execution. A number of iterations were developed for the project. The goal was to exude boldness, straight-to-the-point, luxury, and timelessness—qualities the founder already exhibits and has reflected in the quality of build of the Villa and siting.

The final and chosen mark is literally the initial letter of Twelve on the initial letter of Hillel: T on H. It comes off as BOLD and timeless.
